Two months as Helpxer with this beautiful young family and an assorted community make it very hard to leave Dorfhuus without feeling that a part of you will stay forever. Isla and Baba are simply too kind and cool not to be missed. They have established a beautiful world based on trust, empathy, and doing your share when you feel you can best contribute. Their warmth makes one feel part of the family. The area is nice, and the assorted work quite entertaining and fulfilling, not to mention the attractive amenities offered, such as a splendid grotto where one may dance or have fun trying one’s skills on a professional pool table. To me, however, the main attraction here is the moving human interaction, which allows to know a little more of the local ways, other people, and oneself.
I felt very connected here since my arrival, and will always feel in debt with Isla & Baba for the love and magic I had the privilege to experience.
